We offer four bedrooms for guests staying with us. Three rooms, each with queen size beds, can comfortably accommodate one or two persons. To the extent they are occupied, these rooms share a bathroom. One of the rooms (the Garden Room) is connected to the bathroom, and we frequently book this room for a single party and block the other two rooms. The bath then becomes private for that party. These rooms and bath do work very well for family or friends traveling together. And, there are occasions during the year when we reserve the right to book all three rooms for unrelated guests when there is a common connection or event that all are attending. The fourth room has a king size bed, sitting area, and fully private bathroom.
The Garden
Room The Garden Room has a comfortable wingback chair for sitting and an armoire with drawers and space for hanging clothes. It is decorated in soft tones of green with touches of garden stuff. This room is connected to a large bathroom with combination tub/shower and generous vanity.
The Americana Room The Americana Room is decorated with a patriotic theme and includes a corner cabinet which serves well as a place for personal items. There is a full closet for hanging clothes. This room shares a bath with the Garden Room.
The North Woods
Room The North Woods Room has a rustic feel with a bed cover that depicts outdoors scenes, and windows that look out into evergreen trees at the front of the house. This room also has a sitting chair, and an old treadle style sewing machine that belonged to Ruth's mother. A small commode provides room for personal items, and there is a full closet for hanging clothes. This room also shares a bath with the Garden Room.
The Blue Room The Blue Room (our largest room) includes a king sized bed, a sitting area, and a private bath.
This room faces south and is
the sunniest bedroom with a nice view of the south lawn. There is
plenty of room for clothes in a chest of drawers and full sized closet.
The bath includes a combination tub/shower as well as a separate tiled shower
stall. A two sink vanity provides generous countertop space, and drawer space
too. There is plenty of room to spread out... no living out of a suitcase
in this room.
